Collaborative Informed Consent(R)
Consulting and Facilitation Training

WIN IN THE COURT OF PUBLIC OPINION; STAY OUT OF THE COURT OF LAW WHILE BUILDING WORKABLE AND SUSTAINABLE RELATIONSHIPS WITH YOUR STAKEHOLDERS!

The Collaborative Informed Consent (CIC) model helps prevent community and communications crises resulting in public outrage and possible litigation while enhancing our professional and personal connections and reputations with our regulators and community stakeholders.

The model and process help us develop meaningful and workable relationships with the various stakeholders interested in our work using an informational, educational, and engagement strategic approach.

The collaborative informed consent approach has been refined over 50-years by L. Darryl and Kay Armstrong at ARMSTRONG and Associates. It has brought local, regional, and even national recognition to managers who use it consistently and with commitment.

Adopting the CIC model and  "mindset," getting trained in how to plan, implement, and evaluate it has created long-term, meaningful, and productive relationships between community members and project managers and their teams nationwide. As managers, you get your work done in collaboration with the stakeholders and regulators. You learn how to stay at and talk around the table with each other even when the going gets tough.

In addition to helping you develop your CIC plan of action, we will also train you to facilitate successful and productive meetings.

LEAD, COLLABORATE, FACILITATE, ACHIEVE, SUCCEED!

L. Darryl ARMSTRONG and Associates can help you discover simmering, latent and emerging issues. We use a unique issues management forecasting matrix ®.

Thoughtfully and adequately managed, you can effectively handle issues with the mass and social media, your employees, management and shareholders, neighbors, public, and media.

We can help you develop a crisis and emergency operations management plan to ensure your organization's continued viability and function even in extreme situations.

We help you conduct vulnerability, risk, and threat assessments, including evaluating and developing resolution strategies for key stakeholder concerns, whether real or perceived, before any project implementation.

We conduct informal fact-finding interviews with your employees, stakeholders, and key community leaders to identify critical issues and community values for your project's success.

We facilitate communication, dialogue, and interaction among your team, various business units, and diverse community stakeholders, always intending to discover what you must do to move forward and prevent and or even resolve issues and problems before they develop.

We help you enhance your organization's credibility by using focus groups and advisory groups to provide decision-makers with a way to interact with their constituents and promote mutual education and communication.

We develop and coordinate conflict prevention and resolution strategies and tactics between our clients and the public or private sector representatives in situations where opposing viewpoints are addressed — including political forums, school board meetings, union meetings, and unique interest group interactions.

And, yes, we can be available to you 24 hours a day, seven days a week, when needed.
