A Post-It Note to Re-energize Yourself and Focus

We all have those days when we go to work and can’t focus. Often, it is due to stress, personal issues, or distractions.


Research shows us that 70% of the American population is visual by nature. It takes 61 “impressions,” visual or auditory, to create a mindful perception. Try this idea to focus yourself.


Write on a post-it why you have chosen your career path, or if it is more of a micro purpose, write down what’s motivating you to do a great job on a particular project or task.


Now, post it consciously in your workspace as a constant visual reminder of why you do what you do. Look at it frequently and smile.
